A place to stay recommended by Baikaler: Valentina and Vladimir's
house. The location is perfect for the 5 km long vilage: near the main spot where there is everything in Listvyanka - places to eat, ferry, boats, souvenirs and buses. It is literarily only 5 min walk to the lake Baikal.

Their house is around 200 years old, in a good condition. The house is a recognized monument of Siberian wooden architecture. They've got a room for guests which is large and it has 3 (!) windows facing the lake Baikal. Facilities are basic: sauna and outhouse. However,
breakfast and atmosphere are nice.

The hosts are retired. To be retired in Russia means to live below the poverty line. By staying with Valentina and Vladimir - the Russian pensioners - you make things better for them!
