Jack Sheremetoff, a Lonely Planet recommended guide, reccomends you to stay in his friend's apartment.

A private apartment for guests with all facilities is offered by Valera Semeykin, a local guide. The apartment is located in the beginning of Listvyanka village, behind the Baikal Museum, where public transportation makes its first stop.

The apartment has all facilities, hot shower, clean and roomy. All 3 rooms are separated and can accommodate 2 people in each room.

Toilet and shower are shared!

Valera Semeykin is a very experienced tour guide. One of his tour is listed here, but he is able to arrange customized itineraries upon request.
