You can easily get from Irkutsk to the village of Listvyanka / lake Baikal by public minibus. Departs as soon as it gets full - almost
every hour - for 100R per person one way (location of the minibuses are on the map below).

How to get from Baikaler Hostel to the Bus Terminal by public transportation or walking. Detailed city maps

A) You can walk there. Takes 25-30 min for fit people with small daypacks.

B) You can take a tram # 1 or 2, 12 Rub one way (the blue dots). It'll take ot to the Central Market.
You have to walk form there to the Bus Terminal (the green dots). Takes 10 min for fit people with small daypacks..

C) You can take a minibus #64 directly to the Bus Terminal, 12 Rub one way.
This minibus is less convenient if your luggage is bulky. This minibus can also be full esp on weekends.
