The dog sledding is arranged in the village of LIstvyanka, which is 70km away from Irkutsk.
To make sure how to get there, where exactly to find the Dog Sledding Center and actually book the sled for you - please contact the Baikaler Hostel manager. You will be given the map and direction as well as confirmed booking. Please pay 10% at the hostel and another 90% to the Dog Sledding Center staff.
Why to book? You will no waste time waiting / freezing as they usually have only 2 sleds in use.
How to get to Listvyanka?
- By public minibus. Departs every hour or more often from the bus station. Price: 100R per person one way. Pay to the driver - no tickets needed.
In Listvyanka, the first stop is “Museum”. You have to get off at the widest valley of the village called “Krestovka”, which is the next stop. Ask the driver to stop there by saying “Krestovka pozaluista” or showing him this:
