Package tour is when we arrange all for you: transportation to / from the island, meal and accommodation on the island, 4WD excursion. No guide.
Budget Package Tour to Olkhon island (4 day / 3 night).
Day 1
Picking you up at the Baikaler Hostel and transfer by car to the bus station. We put you in public minibus going to Khuzir, Olkhon island (est. time of departure is 10 am, seats are reserved in advance).
Stop for lunch (not included). I recommend eating local Buryat specialty - big dumplings called posy.
Afternoon arrival to your homestay (you will be expected there and a
driver will dropped off at their front gates). Hosts:
Olya and Kolya (They speak no English).
Accommodation: wooden house. No running water. Outhouse. Home cooked meals.
Dinner. Overnight there.
Day 2
Full board. Usually, we have breakfast at 9am, lunch at 2pm and dinner at 8pm. If you want different times, please let them know.
Your own time to explore the island. I'd recommend to walk to the shore,
taking the left hill, enjoy the view of magnificent Shamanka
or Burkhan Cape (once a center of shamanism, now a great object
for practicing your photography skills) . Continue to the Cape itself,
up to the right hill, down to the sand beach. You may also want to stroll
3 km along the beach, walk up through the forest to the main road and
return to the village (3.5 hr walk).

Day 3
Full board.
4WD excursion to the North of the
island. It is a day trip (depart at 10am, other tourists are in that minibus!))
where you cover 70km and visit several picturesque cliffs and see the
breathtaking panorama of the widest (80km) part of Baikal.
Picnic lunch!
Returning to your homestay at 5-6 pm.

Day 4
Breakfast.
You'll be collected at your homestay by a public minibus and return by
road to Irkutsk bus station by 3-4 pm.
Overnight in Irkutsk at Baikaler Hostel can be arranged.
Price per person: 5000 R (min. number of people required: 2)
The price includes: all transportation, all accommodation, meals as noted,
4WD excursion, banyas, national park fees and taxes.

Distances:
Irkutsk - the ferry: 250 km, takes 3,5 - 4 hrs
Then waiting for the ferry 1 - 2 hrs.
The ferry ride itself is 20 min.
The ferry - Khuzir, Olkhon Island is 36 km, takes 40 min.
